Job overview
Ongoing training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant:
To provide a comprehensive range of secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Medical Education Team, including Managers, Training Programme Directors, Educators and users of the Medical Education Centre.
Main duties of the job
KEY FEATURES OF THE ROLE
- Provide administrative support to Medical Education Team in particular Training Programme Directors.
- Set up and organise Regional Training Days / Course for Trainees across the Region
- Liaise with Faculty and trainees across the whole Yorkshire and Humber region
- Attend Specialty Training Committees to undertake minutes
- As and when necessary attend Courses and provide on the day admin support
- Provide admin support for the PACES Course and Examination, this includes weekend working at least 6 times a year.
- Have knowledge of e-portfolio
- Have knowledge of virtual learning platforms
- Have knowledge of the Trust AV / Video Conferencing systems.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate training records of all trainees on the trainee’s database, HEY 24/7 and other reporting systems for example Blackboard.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the successful delivery of event support
