We are looking for administrators to join the Administration Team at the Queens Centre for Oncology and Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital .
As an Administrator, you will support the administration team to manage the end to end clinical administrative processes associated to the patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, for our patients and customers .
The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As an Administrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway including patient facing tasks and providing administrative support to our your line managers within Administration and the wider organisation.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
Our Administrators play a vital role in the delivery of patient care via the management of the patients end-to-end pathway and supporting the wider team. Our roles are varied and challenging and your day to day duties may include;
- Management of appointments
- Face to face Patient contact
- Reception duties
- Preparing case notes
- Helping track our patients through their journey to ensure a great patient experience
With a starting salary of £22,383 per annum with a generous NHS pension scheme and a fantastic annual leave package (27 days annual leave plus bank holidays) and offer excellent opportunities to progress within clinical administration.
Although previous administration experience would be helpful, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude. Candidates should possess the following skills;

Essential criteria
- Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language
- Good keyboard skills
- NVQ Level 2 in administration

- Previous Administration experience
- Vocational Level 3 in administration
