Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic & driven dietitian to join the small, tightknit team at Princess Royal Hospital (PRH). PRH is a friendly, district general hospital within the larger UHSussex teaching trust which allows for excellent support and opportunities. 

Haywards Heath is a lovely area to live in with good schools and easy links to both London and Brighton.

The clinical caseload includes general medicine, orthopaedics, critical care as well as annual leave cover for the Sussex Rehab Centre. 

Main duties of the job

  • Acute Ward Cover
  • Cross cover during  of leave
  • Weekly outpatient clinic
  • Supervision & line management for junior members of staff
  • student training
  • Engagement in service improvement projects as part of UHSx PFIS agenda
  • Participating in cross site education sessions run by the Dietetics Department to support CPD

  • HCPC registered
  • Training courses relevant to the post

  • NHS Ward Experience

Nutrition Support Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in oral nutrition support
  • Experience in Home Enteral Feeding Discharges
  • Experience in enteral feeding
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in parenteral nutrition
