At Bexhill Hospital we offer a range of outpatient, day surgery, rehabilitation and intermediate care services. At Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital we offer outpatients, rehabilitation and intermediate services. At Uckfield Community Hospital we provide day surgery and outpatient care.
In the community, we deliver services that focus on people with long term conditions living well outside hospital, through our integrated locality teams working with district and community nursing teams. Community members of staff also provide care to patients in their homes and from a number of clinics, health centres and GP surgeries.
Job overview
The ENT Department at Eastbourne District General Hospital is a busy department, which is friendly and supportive. The Trust doctor will work with senior member of the team supporting him/her in emergency and elective workload but will also be part of a larger team. The Trust doctor will take part in the Hospital at Night rota as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The department values the diversity of our medical team and other staff members and aims to ensure that everyone feels valued and supported to reach their educational and clinical goals.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to attend the 8am daily handover meeting when on duty and present patients as required. You will be expected to attend all other educational activities within the ENT Department both formal and informal. You will also be expected to attend and participate in frequent audit and teaching meetings.
