Job overview

We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.

St Richards Theatres are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic band 5 registered  practitioners who would like to join our busy 24/7 theatre department on a permanent basis.

We cover many specialities including orthopaedics and bariatrics, experience of theatres is not essential as training and support is provided. A visa to work in the UK is essential to the role.

As a Theatre Scrub Nurse / ODP, you will: Be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team Work with leading consultants and like-minded professionals who respect and value what you bring Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key Helping you feel good. Person specification

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Registered practitioner with NMC and HCPC (RGN or ODP)
  • Holds a UK Visa
  • Experience of working in acute care setting
Desirable criteria
  • Mentorship/PSPA course
  • Previous Theatre experience

Communication and relationship skills

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of good communication skills
