Job overview
Brighton and Hove Healthy Child Programme 5-19 years are looking to recruit two people to our friendly team.
The hours are up to 18.5 hours per week for each post, term time only.
You will work within the screening team to undertake measurement programmes and associated health promotion work under supervision.
Main duties of the job
To organise and undertake routine measuring of height and weight, and screening of vision and hearing for children at school entry and in Year 6.

To build and maintain effective communication channels with the school nursing team, children, parent/carers, school staff and partner agencies.
To have face to face and telephone contact with parents regarding their child’s health needs
