With a budget of around £365m, three hospitals and 5,500 staff, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based services to the population of Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and parts of East Durham and Sedgefield as well as community, therapeutic and screening to a wider population across Durham and Teesside.

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinical support worker to join our well established team working in the Urgent Care centre North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust.

You must possess the enthusiasm and motivation required to develop themselves and this service. You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and evidence of the ability to work within a team.

Our UCC is co-located with the Emergency department at North Tees. Our Urgent care team provides care for patients accessing unscheduled care, over a 24 hour period 7 days a week, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive an exceptional level of care. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills, being able to work autonomously but also as part of a team.

Clinical support workers assist in caring for patients with illness and injuries. This is an exciting opportunity for clinical support worker to join our team. We are a forward thinking Trust with a vision to provide the highest quality service and require clinical support workers with experience and dedication to join us. Successful applicants will be expected to work a shift pattern covering seven days a week. These shifts will be structured to meet increasing demand and times of pressure.
