Do you have an interest and passion for understanding and working with children who require assessment/treatment for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)?  Do you want to work alongside a well-established and compassionate team in helping to assess and support these families?  Then we have the right role for you.  Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Clinician to work within our ADHD Team. 

The team is in a position to be able to help staff develop the knowledge and experience within CAMHS and offer additional training as appropriate to role but are keen to recruit an individual who has experience in this area and can bring that experience to the team.

Please note this post require candidates to have a professional registration as a Child Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist. 

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will become an integral part of the ADHD multi-disciplinary team, which will include observations, specialist assessments, report writing, involvement in QB testing in order to deliver a clinically compliant assessment pathway for those children and young people up to the age of 18 years.

You will need to be confident in your own clinical decision-making skills. You will work with a range of professionals from a variety of different agencies including social care, acute care and a range of community and voluntary sector partners.

Trust Welcome Day
