Job overview
Consultant Radiologist with an Interest in Breast Imaging (Screening and Symptomatic)
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant Radiologist to work within the Radiology Directorate, part of the Specialities Care Group. The Radiology Department of the Trust will has a combined Radiologist workforce of 37 diagnostic Radiologists, with a range of subspecialty interests, working in collaboration with a further 7 Interventional Radiologists. The size of the directorate facilitates the development of a high degree of sub specialisation across the group.
We would welcome applications from individuals working in breast centres looking for a change in pace and an increased quality of life. If it was in line with the candidates wishes, a structured refresher program would be provided to expand into other areas of interest, or to resume general radiology practice. The candidate would not be required to do on-call or general work if this was not desired, or if not confident to do so. The idea would be to build the job plan around the skills and aspirations of the candidate. If this is of interest, we would strongly advise prospective candidates to get in touch.
