Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our busy Delivery suite within Poole Maternity on permanent contract. The successful applicants will join a well established team who administer the delivery suite
Applicants should have excellent administrative/clerical experience, and good computer skills. You need to be organised and be able to cope with the day-to-day work that is undertaken by the team. There is a requirement for accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to work in an efficient and timely manner at all times. It is a very busy environment with a constant flow of traffic from all areas within the unit.
There is 5 positions available as follows:
2 x 30 hours
3 x 22.5 hours
There is shift work involved over a 4 week rota. There is 3 shift patterns are:
Early- 6am until 2pm
Late- 2pm until 10pm
Night- 10pm - 6am
There will be two weekends to work over the 4 week rolling rota.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE English & Maths (minimum grade C/4) or equivalent
Experience

- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role or administrative experience and/or qualification
- Good team worker, flexible and adaptable to change
- Experience of dealing with members of the public
- The ability to use own initiative when appropriate
Knowledge

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
