We are looking for a enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our busy and friendly team on Jersey ward - Alderney Community Hospital
You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working well as part of a wider team. You will be the primary point of contact for patients and staff for any administrative issues relating to the ward.
Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

To provide administrative and clerical support, while contributing to ensure an effective and efficient service.
To act as a first point of contact, on the telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals.
The post will require the utilisation of good clerical, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
