Job overview

Do you have a can-do attitude and take pride in your work?

Do you want to work as part of a friendly supportive team?

Do you want to work in brand new state of the art facilities?

If yes, we’re looking for cleanliness auditors to join #TeamUHD.

This new role will be to work with clinical, estates and housekeeping colleagues to concentrate on conducting cleanliness audits across sites used by UHD to deliver services.

Using the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness, the audits will be carried out by a multi-disciplinary team.

There are x2 full time roles available and part time will be considered.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital, but you will be required to work across site.

Main duties of the job

This role is vital for many reasons.

It will support the national standards the Trust is required to meet, protect our patients as well as supporting us to improve the service we deliver.

The results of these audits generate a published star rating for each area and ward, and we are striving to remain excellent!

You will be working within all patient areas and will be very much part of the wider UHD team

What we can offer you in return:

  • Enhanced annual leave (pro-rata for part-time)

  • Generous NHS pension scheme

  • NHS discounts at thousands of retailers

  • Staff discounted food and drinks in several retail outlets across the Trust

Working for our organisation

Our values define who we are as #TeamUHD.  They underpin everything we do now and in the future. They define how we treat our patients, visitors, and each other, our valued teammates and colleagues.

UHD are investing in services across the Trust, with many being transformed and developed following merger and the New Hospital Programme.

This means that some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or long term.  Recruiting Managers interviewing for this role will be happy to answer any specific questions that you have about this at interview.
