Job overview

To provide comprehensive and high-quality administrative support for the Coastal Community Nursing team.

Ensuring an effective and efficient service is provided for individuals and their representatives throughout Torbay and South Devon.

Main duties of the job

To work closely with the members of the community nurse team as well as colleagues within the wider organisation.

You will provide information and empathetic support on a daily basis ensuring all systems are up to date and accurate.

You will assist in the processing a number of administration tasks, maintaining speed and accuracy.

Essential criteria
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • NVQ level 3
  • Knowledge of Health and Social care administration processes

Knowledge and Skills

Essential criteria
  • Accurate keyboard skills and word processing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of customer care
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of Healthcare systems such as IHCS, SystmOne and Nervecentre
