Specialist Stroke Nurse

Trosolwg o'r swydd

An opportunity has arisen for a  developmental B6 post working alongside the Stroke Specialist Nurses. The post will provide insight into managing patients presenting with suspected stroke, and develop key skills required in order to perform this role effectively. This is a  developmental post with the aim to work independently as a B7 Stroke Specialist Nurse once assessed fully competent. The Stroke service within Derriford Hospital is expanding and this is an exciting time to join the team, and to help take this service forward

We would very much welcome applications from anyone with experience of working within the Stroke service, or those with sound knowledge and experience of looking after sick and deteriorating patients

***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
