An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate nurse with demonstrable experience to join our caring and friendly team for a 6 month secondment opportunity (with current line manager's agreement) with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Bickleigh is a busy 27 bedded interventional cardiology ward specialising in cardiac monitoring and telemetry beds, caring for patients with arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes and valve disease.

The post holder will be expected to demonstrate the ability to lead a team, lead under pressure and provide high standards of care, whilst meeting the trust values. You will be expected to support the Ward Manager and Junior Sisters with management duties. Cardiac experience is desirable but not essential.

This position is for full and/or part time hours,  with an internal rotation of working days, nights and weekends.

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
