We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Fitness Instructor to join the award winning ImpACT+, Integrated Respiratory Service for Southern Derbyshire.

The role will join an established and highly experienced team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Fitness instructors and Respiratory Assistants who are responsible for delivering pulmonary rehabilitation. 

We aim to improve health by reducing the number of patients who develop respiratory diseases. 

We improve the health of those at risk by identifying them earlier, improve the health of those diagnosed by empowering them to take an active role in managing their disease, and to improve the on-going and end of life care by supporting the social, physical and emotional needs of patients.

This is a Band 3/4 developmental post and is based on experience. Formal training will be required before the full responsibility of the post can be taken.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

This post will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation along side the Physiotherapists. The integrated service will afford us the opportunity to offer our patients proactive, preventative and person centered care.

The post-holder will work alongside qualified staff to deliver Pulmonary rehabilitation education and exercise programmes.

Working alongside other members of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation exercise teams to deliver a high standard of care in a safe environment that meets the patients’ needs whilst maintaining privacy and dignity and support patients to achieve the highest possible outcomes.

The post will also be responsible for delivering a range of educational topics as part of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme.

We will offer high quality healthcare expertise and services. Working as a team, we aim to exceed the expectations of our patients, staff and members.

We will continuously improve and develop our organisation, our services and our people, through innovation and the best use of all our resources.
