Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Staffing Team Leader role within the Acute Medicine Business Unit which manages medical staffing for the Emergency Department. The role is based at the Royal Derby Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to embrace and  develop this interesting role. You must be an effective team player and excellent communicator who can help provide an efficient and robust medical staffing service.

Main duties of the job

This role will involve managing a small team of medical staffing administrators. The collection and dissemination of information to ensure prompt production of rotas, taking into account annual, study and special leave whilst ensuring clinical commitments and targets are delivered.

The role will involve overseeing the recruitment of trust grade medical posts and rotation of junior doctors. Developing and organising inductions for our new staff.

The Role involves working to tight deadlines processing Doctor timesheets for additional activity.
