Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Division of Psychology and Psychological Therapies as a band 4 PA and Admin Team Lead.
The postholder will provide a PA role to the Deputies within the Division, have a lead role within the administration team, and provide high level, comprehensive administrative support within the Division.
We are looking for a creative and motivated individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will need to liaise with a number of people, teams and services, within the Division of Psychology and Psychological Therapies, the wider Trust and external organisations.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an individual who can manage their day-to-day workload with limited supervision, is able to act on their own initiative and who is able to cope with multiple deadlines, in a constantly changing environment.
The post will be based at St Andrews House in Derby but will support our Psychology and Psychological Therapies Services across Derbyshire. Therefore, the successful post holder will need the ability to deal with complex information and to have excellent IT and organisational skills to be able to support a number of different professionals in different teams and services.
The role includes an Admin Team Lead role, which gives an opportunity to develop and build on leadership and management skills.

- RSA III in Typewriting or Word Processing (or equivalent or demonstrable experience)
- GCSE grade C or equivalent in English Language/Maths
Desirable criteria
- ECDL
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Reception/front of house experience or equivalent
- Experience and knowledge of using a variety of software programmes including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Administrative experience of working in a busy office or equivalent
- Experience of arranging meetings effectively and formal minute taking
Desirable criteria
- Experience of effectively managing, supervising and developing staff
- Familiar with Trust Operational, Personnel and Health and Safety procedures
- NHS Experience
