Trosolwg o'r swydd

Hello, my name is Dr Ian Watkiss and I am the lead for the Derbyshire Autism Service in the Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Our team is still quite new, but already prides itself on the excellent care we provide, supporting our service users that live in the Derbyshire area.

Over the course of the pandemic, we have realised more than ever how important it is to not only look after our service users, but also ourselves and our colleagues. I am personally devoted to our team's health and welfare and this has never been more essential than over the past few years.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for people to come and be a part of our Specialist Autism Team, where we help those with a potential imminent hospital admission, under the Mental Health Act and help to try and support that work in the community first. To date, we have worked with those who are anxious and struggling with the demands being placed on them in their communities, whilst considering their diagnosis .

Our team is dedicated, compassionate and caring to those who are referred to us and we are now in the position to expand the team and recruit a Senior Clinical Psychologist, to work alongside two Principal Clinical Psychologists, our Assistant Psychologist, the Trainees we support and me. I would like to invite you to come and join the team, work with us in these new roles and be part of developing the service to even greater heights.
