Job overview

We are looking to appoint Domestic Cleaning Assistants to roles at Walton Hospital, Chesterfield, and this is a fantastic opportunity for you to become part of our DCHS Domestic  Team.

The positions available are:

1 vacancy for 18 hours/ week, working  4.5 hours per day, 4 days per week on a 7 day rota -  11:30am - 4pm

4 vacancies for 16 hours/ week, working 4 hours a day, 4 days a week on a 7 day rota - 4pm - 8pm 

Although experience is desirable, this is not essential as full training will be given.

You will be required to provide a high quality, domestic service working individually and as part of a team, to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a high-quality domestic service.

Working either individually or as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors following agreed work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with the National Standards of Cleanliness.

Have a flexible approach and be prepared to work occassionally on other sites should service demands dictate.  This will require the ability to travel to another site.

Play an integral part in delivering outstanding patient care at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS).
