We’re looking for someone with excellent administration skills to join our Business Services Team at Royal Primary Care based at our Rectory Road site in Staveley.
- 37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
· To process all Subject Access Requests in a timely manner. · To process insurance / medical reports are completed and returned in a timely manner. · Ensure all invoices for work carried out are actioned accordingly. · Ensure routine, urgent and 2WW referrals are actioned within timeframes. · To update SystmOne with incoming information with regards to patient details, registering and de-registering of patients as appropriate. · Updating SystmOne with regards to notifications of patient deaths. · Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Practice including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the Practice team. |

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To work within the Back Office Business Services Team on various functions to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Must be able to work on their own as well as part of a team

Must have a keen eye for detail, inputting data accurately
Quick Leaner
The successful candidate should have great I.T. skills and knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Teams, and Outlook.
Other essential skill/qualifications are GCSE/ Functional Skills in English & Maths Level C/ Grade 4, ability to follow instructions, a desire for service improvement, having a pro-active approach in learning, attention to detail, problem solver and produce quality work.
Desirable skills/ qualifications are Medical Terminology, NVQ or equivalent in Business Administration, knowledge of an NHS environment, knowledge of working with SystmOne (or equivalent). Previous read coding advantageous

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- GCSE in Maths & English grade C or above
- ECDL or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- NVQ or equivalent Customer Care
- Formal training in a public-facing environment
- Knowledge of GP computer systems, preferably Systmone
Experience
Essential criteria
- Working with the public
- Understanding of back office functions
Desirable criteria
- Telephone call handling Experience
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and iGDPR

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
