An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice based within the Centre for Practice Learning, in the Education centre, Chesterfield Royal Hospital. The Business Admin Apprentice will provide comprehensive and high-quality administrative support to the Centre for Practice Learning to ensure our education and training activities for non-medical learners and the clinical staff supervising and supporting them during their clinical placement, meet the required standards, to ensure we have a safe, effective clinical workforce for now and into the future.

Main duties of the job
Assist the Centre for Practice Learning with the planning, coordination and promotion of education and training activities. This includes room bookings, room set up, preparation of course registers, preparation of resources and arranging hospitality.
To support the Centre for Practice learning to ensure education and training activities are accurately recorded on the electronic Learning Management System.
Provide diary management for team members, including booking meetings, education sessions, career events, LEM meetings.
Establish and maintain effective communication including enquires, emails and correspondence within the multidisciplinary team internally and externally, HEI partners and other NHS organisations or practice learning teams if appropriate, demonstrating good working relationships with all levels of staff and learners.
To prioritise own workload, working to timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Have the ability to question effectively and seek clarification from individuals to enable effective decision making.
To maintain confidentiality at all times.

- GCSE English & Maths Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
