We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual with a proven track record of excellent leadership qualities, innovation and driving successful change and service improvement. To manage and support Imaging information systems within Radiology, across all UHDB sites. Providing a high quality, safe and resilient service. For example, RIS / PACS / Voice Recognition / IEP etc.

You must be keen to further your skills operating within a fast-paced environment whilst supporting a service to transform and deliver. 
Effective communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level are vital. A successful track record of managing change and the ability to effectively engage with and develop our dedicated Imaging Team is key.

The post holder will be a key member of the Imaging Multidisciplinary team and be responsible for supporting high quality technical, safe and effective Imaging Information systems. The post holder will ensure that the patient experience is always at the forefront of their interactions with the client group and will promote and suggest ideas that would transform services to maximise productivity and efficiency. 

The post holder will work within the University Hospital of Derby and Burton Imaging department across all sites providing service and support excellent links between Imaging and IT services.

The post holder will support and manage a high quality Imaging Information systems, (e.g. RIS / PACS / VR etc) service within the confines of the agreed scope of practice, assessing any given related scenario and deciding upon the most appropriate way to support and manage the service. Working  in close collaboration with IT Departmental team and heads of service relative to area of expertise

They will also maintain relevant Imaging Information system skills and competence and act as a role model for staff, monitoring and maintaining standards of care. Keeping abreast of current imaging developments/issues and bring to the attention of the General Manager/Lead Radiographer any issues requiring actions.

 They will also manage staff to include recruitment, staff leave, promoting attendance at work and managing absence, staff discipline, capability and grievance issues in line with organisational policies. Support line managers with relevant aspects of management tasks.
