Theatres are pleased to advertise a permanent opportunity for 2 Band 3 administrators. This post is for 37.5 and 35 hours covering a five-day service throughout the admin team.  The successful candidate will work across Main Site,  Treatment Centre Theatres and Surgical Day Case Unit.

This is a varied job which is a key post in our large and friendly team. The post holder will act as theatre receptionist and undertake general administration duties in respect of own department requirements I.e. diary management and organising associated activities/paperwork arrangement of meetings, taking meeting notes and producing agendas/minutes.

The post holder will maintain the theatre schedule and finalise the ordering of list and schedule the emergency patients on to Meditech in hours. The post holder will be expected, along with colleagues to maintain the accuracy of theatre systems whilst providing comprehensive support to the senior management teams.

The post holder will be expected to provide support with the accurate inputting of Data on to a National Audit database.

The ideal candidate will be a strong user of IT packages including  Excel, Teams, Word and Outlook. It would be an advantage to have experience of using Allocate e-roster and Meditech.

  • NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent proven knowledge and skills
