If you are an enthusiastic and motivated midwife, we would love you to come and join our team here in North Cumbria. We have opportunities for Integrated Midwives across all areas of our Maternity Service, including delivery suite, antenatal and postnatal inpatients and community areas.
We have 2 small, friendly Consultant led units and a stand- alone birth centre who work closely with our community midwifery teams.
Main duties of the job
The aim of this role is to build on the current practice and improve the standard of fetal monitoring, to achieve healthy birth outcomes within the Trust.
To provide positive practice learning to the highest quality through teaching and empowering the midwives and obstetricians to utilise their skills and available evidence to develop better midwifery practice with regards intrapartum risk assessment and fetal monitoring.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- • Live NMC required
- • Registered Midwife
- • Professional/clinical knowledge acquired through midwifery training to degree/ diploma level and preceptorship plus further study, experience of area of expertise
