Job overview
System Administrator - 37.5 hours per week (Carlisle)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our operational team. The successful candidate will support with the effective operational management and support of the Physical Health and Rehabilitation Service. The role will work alongside the Operational Team in ensuring high standards of business performance, service delivery and the continuity of high quality care to patients, carers and families across Cumbria.
In addition to providing operational support, the post holder will also be required to assume the day-to-day management and oversight of administrative colleagues within the team, including coordination, management supervision and resource allocation in line with service needs and objectives.
On behalf of the ICC and Community Care Collaborative, the post holder will take delegated responsibility for monitoring and ensuring that agreed commissioned services, SLAs and associated targets are understood, met, and, where necessary, support the delivery and implementation of plans to manage clinical need.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will support the Operational Team in ensuring that key business, quality, financial, service effectiveness and performance targets are maintained as appropriate.
To support, where necessary, the development of business cases, capital bids, project overview documents (PODs) and quality impact assessments (QIAs) to support service development initiatives and assist the management team in the business planning/continuous improvement cycle.
To support the maintenance and continuous improvement of patient care and experience. To work toward agreed service development plans, closely with clinical staff to and wider stakeholders, to ensure that departments runs efficiently and in line with NCIC/Care Collaborative Objectives.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Undergraduate Degree level or equivalent e.g. Diploma, NVQ level 4/5 in a relevant subject area, and/or in clear evidence of an in depth knowledge and experience in a similar role.
- Previous NHS Service experience
Desirable criteria
- Qualification or training in recognised statistical techniques.
- Masters Level Qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Experience of Project Management.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- High level skills in the analysis and presentation of data including use of appropriate computer software.
- Good analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex data and information.
- Previous line management experience.
- Understanding of NHS Organisations within the local health community.
