Bank Team Co-ordinator Band 4
To co-ordinate Bank requirements for the Trust, providing a service to meet the needs of the Care Groups.
To support the attraction strategy of recruiting high calibre staff to vacancies and development of a talent pipeline for workforce planning.
To provide high quality bank staff advice and support to all Business Units/Care Groups within the Trust/s. In addition, the Bank Team provides advice to other departments and colleagues in the Trust to manage gaps in service, deliver savings and improve systems/processes.
Main duties of the job
Duties may evolve as the Team continues to expand and set a gold standard benchmark for best practice.
The Bank Team supports the Trust to deliver a flexible and safe workforce to address short-term staffing Recruitment shortages so will lead and support attraction initiatives including recruitment drives and mass recruitment events.
Complete regular reviews, data cleansing and attraction/recruitment of Bank staff to meet business requirements.
To constantly seek to improve systems and processes to deliver a gold standard service to stakeholders, including bank staff members and SOPs
To support on liaison with NHS Providers, Advertisers, NHSE I, Procurement, Framework, Recruitment Fair and Conference providers etc. where appropriate.
Conduct investigations into any issues raised around a bank workers conduct or capability.
Make decisions for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of an investigation in accordance with the bank booking policy or escalate as appropriate
Ensure compliance of bank workers training to ensure the Trust has gold standard levels of compliance, thereby reducing risk to the Trust, ensuring developed communication skills are used as tact will be required..
Lead on projects ensuring bank workers comply with Trust training requirements requirements.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:
Standard Check: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
Enhanced Check: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Person specification
Qualification
Essential criteria
- Diploma/NVQ Level 4 level in business admin or other relevant subject or equivalent experience
- GCSEs in Maths and English.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant administrative experience in an Agency/HR/Recruitment/Operational/Commercial or Customer Service setting
Desirable criteria
- Public Sector or Commercial Temporary Staffing experience
- Working in the NHS
- Medical/AfC Staff Recruitment
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of a range of administrative processes and systems in a busy environment
- Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages (especially Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of a range of administrative, HR procedures and payroll procedures including rostering and systems used for payment of time worked
- Knowledge of employee/payroll databases e.g. Oracle, ESR.
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of issues relating to Staff recruitment
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
