Eden Ward - Obs & Gynae Specialty
Eden Ward cares for elective gynaecology and urology patients. It manages the post-operative care of day/overnight patients. There is also an inpatient bed base of 20 looking after more major surgery, emergencies and some medical patients.
We treat our patients with a multi-professional approach, ensuring that their dignity is at the forefront of the care we provide. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, enthusiastic and be able to work well under pressure.
Full time (37.5 hours per week) and part time hours may be available.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics
- NVQ 2 in Health Care or equivalent
- Clinical skills eg. venepuncture, blood transfusion, aseptic non touch technique
Desirable criteria
- NVQ 3 in Direct Care

- Previous experience in a care setting

- Working in a team
Skills / Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Able to support and reassure patients/carers in distress
- Understands importance of maintaining confidentiality
