We are looking for a person with excellent clerical and administrative skills to work in a corporate team dedicated to supporting our patient safety culture improvement work.
Main duties of the job
The corporate nursing team is seeking a Team Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Associate Director of Nursing and Corporate Nursing Midwifery Team alongside the Corporate Nursing Admin Team. This role sits within the Corporate Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals Team, reporting to the Executive Assistant for the Director of Nursing Midwifery and AHPs. The Team Administrator will work to deliver the teams ambitions around the provision of outstanding high quality care, working with internal hospital teams and external partners.
The role requires someone who is calm and extremely well organised, an excellent communicator, who is resilient and able to work to time critical deadlines.
This post will be hybrid working.

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential criteria
- GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Attainment of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in administration.
Desirable criteria
- Qualification in Administration
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
- Experience in an administrative role in a field with a Customer Care focus equivalent to NVQ Level3
- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems
- Well-developed IT and keyboard skills
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrable experience working in the NHS.
- Experience in meetings administration and diary management
Skills
Essential criteria
- Well-developed IT and keyboard skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable criteria
- Working knowledge of PAS and Datix
