Come and join us at our brand new Elective Surgical Hub in St Austell, we have 2 day case theatres and are looking for a fantastic team to be within this exciting new unit.
Main duties of the job
To provide high quality, compassionate perioperative healthcare to people, before, during and after surgical interventions. As an experienced healthcare assistant the care provided will be underpinned by an accurate knowledge of facts, principles, processes and general concepts of perioperative healthcare assistance.
To support the Team in delivering safe and quality care across the theatre unit.
To meet roster expectations, i.e on-calls, late shifts, long days shifts.

Essential criteria
- Level 2 English and Maths
- Completed Care certificate
- Level 3 senior healthcare support worker course
Desirable criteria
- At least 1 year theatre experience
- Healthcare Related Apprenticeship
experience

- At least 1 Year Theatre Experience
Desirable criteria
- Able to use Galaxy system / U4
- Previous experience of working in a perioperative environment
- Eobs, ECG and cannulation trained
