Clinical Imaging Booking and Admin Coordinator

Band 3

Job overview

Have you ever thought of joining a self-motivated, productive team of dedicated people? Interested in an administrative role with a difference?

The Clinical Imaging Team provides a focal point for imaging and diagnostic services across the organisation and is responsible for the management of both new and follow up appointments, lists and waiting lists.  It is a very busy and demanding area to work. The offices are open between 8am and 8pm, 7 days per week and staff are expected to work on a rota basis to cover these hours.

Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. Please talk to us at interview about any flexible working arrangements you would prefer or require. While we may not be able to fully accommodate all requests, such requests will not be referenced during the interview scoring process, and we will fully consider and try to accommodate them for successful applicants.

The job will be based at West Cornwall Hospital but you will be expected to travel to St Michaels Hospital, Hayle and Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro for training or covering leave if needed.

Main duties of the job

The Booking and Admin Co-ordinator will be responsible for the management of diagnostic referrals, waiting lists and administrative functions. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way. For further information please contact Tracey Edgcombe, Clinical Admin Lead on 01872 252285 or Victoria Ward, Deputy Office Supervisor on 01872 252347.
