Job overview
We are a 34 bedded trauma and orthopaedic ward.
As a ward clerk you will work closely with the nurse in charge and the nursing team within the clinical area.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Ward Clerk will be to complete day to day housekeeping task such as E-Camis update, answering the telephone, booking appointments, updating documentation

Qualifications

- GCSE’s A-C or equivalent qualification / experience
- NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of hospital computer systems: CaMis, Theatre Man, PACS, Ice Web Medical Terminology
Experience

- Previous experience of working in a clerical environment
