Knowledge and Skills

Meini prawf hanfodol

Knowledge of NHS diagnostic clinical laboratories accreditation standards and quality frameworks.
Understanding of clinical governance, clinical audit and achieving quality targets.
Physical skills including keyboard skills and use of laboratory equipment
Use of data analysis software, e.g., Microsoft Excel and a sound knowledge of Word and Powerpoint.
Practical experience of the audit process.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work effectively, individually or as part of team

Basic working knowledge of Pathology IT systems.
Basic working knowledge of QPulse or similar document management system.
Experience of audit within a laboratory setting
Experience of risk assessment

Qualifications and Training

Skilled in the effective communication of data using a variety of methods (verbally/writing/presentations) and assisting clinical staff with interpretation of data and audit results.
Experience of working with minimal supervision.

Post holder required to work across both Trust sites. Must be able to meet all travel requirements of this post.
