This is an exciting opportunity to join the scientific and technical team in Clinical Measurement at the South Tees NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with the desire and ability to improve patient care.

Main duties of the job

The clinical measurement team is involved with a variety of services throughout the Trust and plays a core part in the Trust’s innovation pathway. This purpose of this role will be to support the Clinical Scientists and Technologists. This may include, but is not limited to, developing software and medical devices, programming microcontrollers, using engineering techniques to build prototypes, performing routine quality assurance testing and providing support to sleep diagnostics where required.

 We would expect the successful applicant to have knowledge and experience in at least one of the areas in the job description and additional training can be provided in-house where required.

Applicants should have a minimum of an HND/HNC in Computing or Engineering (Electronics or Mechanical).
