We are pleased to share the opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to join our friendly  Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate would be joining a fantastic team who support each other and strive to deliver an exceptional service for its patients. 

We support the development of Clinical Skills so that we can deliver evidence based interventions for patients including accessing training in Psychological Therapies and Complex Risk Management. The successful candidate would therefore be joining a highly skilled & supportive team with a range of disciplines and expertise available within the team including nurses of varying backgrounds, occupational therapists, OTTI, social work, clinical support workers, CBT Therapist, MHWP, psychologists, psychiatrists and administrative staff. 

Main duties of the job

You will form part of an MDT and provide consultation and support to the team during MDT forums such as a weekly case discussion meeting & daily Safety Huddle.

CPN's within our team facilitate assessments, duty, clinics, short term interventions and crisis care. Staff will develop a specialist knowledge of evidence based interventions and approaches for a wide range of mental health disorders and need to be highly skilled in assessing and managing risks associated with a patients mental health needs. We are also looking to develop skills within the team to meet service and patient needs.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with patients subject to Community Treatment Orders.
