Our Medical Resourcing Team are part of the wider Strategic Resourcing service.
The team support all services across the Trust with:
- Recruitment of Doctors and Dentists - both substantive, bank and agency
- Management of the Trusts medical bank system (Patchwork)
- Management of the Trusts agency booking system and booking of workers (PlusUs)
We're looking for:
- Somebody who is good with systems - we use many for the different aspects of the role, so somebody who is technologically minded is essential for this job
- A team player - we're a small team which means we need somebody who is willing to support across both the Medical Resourcing team and the Agenda for Change Recruitment team and who will support their colleagues
- A curious mind - we're always looking for ways to make improvements so somebody who embraces change, challenge and likes to seek new and better ways of doing things for the benefit of our colleagues, and ultimately patients

We may be a small team but we think (unbiased of course) that we are truly brilliant and this role offers plenty of learning and development. From learning how to use different systems, recruitment practices, the ins and outs of the Medical Recruitment world, and much more.
We will consider applicants looking for between 30hrs to 37.5hours a week
Main duties of the job
You will be supporting the recruitment activity for all Doctors and Dentists in the Trust, supporting the management of day to day queries related to the Medical Bank and the Trust agency (excluding Nursing and Midwifery roles).
You'll provide a quality administrative services to support delivery of the above services including:

dealing with all aspects of the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, setting up interviews and pre-employment checks through to confirming a new employee’s start date.

assist in sourcing temporary staffing through external agencies where vacancies were not filled internally, ensuring best value for money in line with NHSE guidelines and provide support to users of the Trust bank worker system.

- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Experience working across multiple databases ensuring all information is accurate and maintained

- Working experience of TRAC, ESR, PlusUs, Patchwork systems
- Knowledge of Doctors national terms and conditions
Skills, knowledge and competencies
Essential criteria
- Able to prioritise work and work towards deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in order to maintain good working relationships service users
Desirable criteria
- Basic understanding of recruitment practices
- Understanding of NHS Employment Checking Standards
Educational Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level in administration or Equivalent
Desirable criteria
- CIPD Level 3 or working towards
