The relocation package is for anyone joining the Trust in a Clinical role who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our established adult Eating Disorders Team.  The post is offered at Band 8a for those with 1+ years post-qualification experience. We also encourage 2024 newly-qualified clinicians to apply and can offer a Band 7 preceptorship moving up to 8a after demonstration of an appropriate level of skills and experience.

You will be joining an experienced and welcoming Multidisciplinary Team which highly values psychology. There are already two Clinical Psychologists embedded within the team who are trained and experienced in a range of approaches. 

No previous experience of Eating Disorders is necessary as you will be provided with extensive professional and clinical supervision frameworks and multiple opportunities to develop your specialist clinical skills. 

You will be encouraged and supported to undertake funded training.  There are close integrated links to other Clinical Psychologists working across a range of services within the Trust.

The successful candidate will undertake direct individual work in addition to group work, consultation and contribute to teaching and service development.  They will have the opportunity to take part in systemic family therapy sessions. 

We are very keen to attract the right candidates and will consider both part-time and full-time applicants (and appropriate job shares) and locality working dependent on how this fits with the applicant’s needs and that of the service. Hybrid working is an option.

  • Skills in providing Consultation to other professionals and nonprofessional groups.
