Job overview

If you are an enthusiastic, motivated pharmacist or trainee pharmacist interested in gaining broad clinical experience to develop your medicine optimisation skills amongst a friendly and forward-thinking team then the opportunities at East Cheshire NHS Trust are for you!

As part of the department’s innovation agenda, and following significant investment, we are excited to announce this opportunity to join our modern and dynamic Pharmacist Progression Programme. We invite you to join our supportive, tight-knit clinical pharmacy team on our expansive training programme, which supports your seamless professional progression from band 6 to band 7, via an enabling framework that considers your prior experience and training.

Applicants should be either a registered pharmacist with the GPhC or a trainee pharmacist due to qualify in 2024. Those seeking a new challenge, looking to explore a new sector, or to relocate to idyllic Cheshire are encouraged to apply.

Macclesfield is perfectly located with easy access to Manchester and Liverpool. We are a flexible department and recognise the individual needs of our team.

These opportunities are offered full-time (37.5 hours), but flexible working requests will be considered. Please also note this is a fixed term position for 12 months for maternity cover. Pharmacists from other sectors (i.e. community) are welcome to apply.
