The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a national evidence-based programme. The aim of the programme is to improve the antenatal health, child health and development and parents’ economic self-sufficiency in disadvantage young families.

The post holder will form part of the integrated Starting Well service and work from our collection of Children's Centres . We are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate in relation to reducing inequality and adapting to meet the needs of individual's.

Commuting between many places of work is essential and it is expected that the training and resources available to a Family Nurse Supervisor are utilised and benefit the wider service, organisation and our partners through creation and confident delivery of training packages

The post holder is responsible for leading and managing the work of the family nurses. This includes providing in-depth clinical and safeguarding supervision to the family nurses, maintaining the integrity of the programme, taking responsibility for the quality of programme replication according to the licence, overseeing recruitment and engagement of hard-to-reach families, building local relationships and facilitating continual learning and service improvement. In addition, they will also hold a small caseload of families to whom they deliver the programme and leading on cross fertilisation across the wider workforce.
