Do you want to operate some of the best Imaging equipment available? We have state of the art Samsung, Carestream and Canon equipment.

The Imaging department at Victoria Infirmary, Northwich is an implementer CDC site with increased services being introduced in the coming months!

The Medical Imaging Department has had major investment in CT and Projectional Radiography. CDC VIN houses two projectional rooms, DEXA, USS and CT imaging. 

Main duties of the job

If you are an enthusiastic, hard-working, ambitious individual we have Band 5 (trainee link grade) and Band 6 vacancies available. This is an opportunity for you to start your CT and DEXA career whilst continuing to hone your projectional imaging skills.

Successful candidates must have current HCPC registration

MCHT was recently named as one of the best hospitals in the country (CHKS Top Hospital for 2019). The Radiology department has been recognised as the Best Training Placement for Radiologist Registrars for the last 3 years.

We provide a 8 to 8 projectional and CT service over a seven day working week; successful candidates are expected to participate in the OOH rota.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) provides good quality, safe and effective healthcare to the people of Cheshire and beyond.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To perform a range of X-ray procedures, with additional skills in CT and DEXA 

Producing high quality diagnostic  images and providing excellent patient care.

To participate in the projectional, DEXA and CT shift system.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • HCPC
  • DCR or BSc in Radiography
  • Minimum of 12-24 months Clinical NHS experience
Desirable criteria
  • Previous CT experience
  • Evidence of CPD
