We are commissioned to provide an outpatient service for adults with moderate and severe Eating Disorders.   We are one of several community-based Eating Disorder Services that are provided by CWP . Our base is at Warrington , but this post will also work with FREED clients in the Trafford  area.

You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team including Eating Disorder Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Cognitive Analytic Therapists, Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist and Team administrator.

If this position sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in pursuing then please contact either myself, Jade  Topping or another member of the team, whom will be happy to assist with any questions you may have. We can be contacted on 01925 248475

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone to join our supportive and enthusiastic team  to provide dietetic assessments and interventions, for individuals   alongside other members of the MDT. You will attend the weekly MDT and will have access to supervision that is currently hosted every 6 weeks with other CWP dietitians from the other CWP EDS services as well as management supervision within the team. Internal and external training opportunities are available to ensure you are supported in meeting your annual requirements to maintain your registration. We are also planning an induction period into the role with weekly check ins and support to aid transition into the new role.

We currently offer a Monday - Friday service and our usual hours are 9-5, although we offer earlier and later appointments to accommodate our service users. We are able to offer considerable flexibility in how the successful applicant works these hours

We are looking for someone who is dynamic and innovative, who is willing to work as part of a team, sharing their expertise with the team and have the ability to establish good therapeutic rapport with our service users that is the essential foundation for offering evidence based treatments.

The supporting information section in your application should therefore reflect your understanding of the Trust’s Values and associated behaviours. You will be expected to provide us with examples from work experience and/or personal life which demonstrate these values through your behaviour.

Please inform the team if you have any special support needs to be considered as part of the interview and selection processes.

CWP is proud to be an accredited Veteran Aware organisation helping to provide and share best practice in NHS care for our armed forces community. As a veteran aware organisation, CWP is committed to delivering on the principles of the Armed Force Covenant and has a ‘Silver’ award with the MOD Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (DERS).
