Job overview

To provide professional training across a number of electronic patient record systems including SystemOne and EMIS  as well as training the Microsoft products and general IT training to individuals across the Trust.

This post is Fixed Term for 12 months.

Main duties of the job

Providing Face to Face training from multiple sites across the footprint of the trust to clinical and administrative staff.

Developing e-learning packages to support remote training requirements of the trust. Full details of the job can be found on the attached Job description and Personal Specification document.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Possess ECDL advanced or level 3 IT qualification (or working towards).

Knowledge and Experience

  • Understanding of performance management and the importance of management information

Experience

  • Recent experience of NHS clinical and IT systems.
  • Development of end-user training environments and production of lesson plans and other necessary resources required.
  • Sound level of oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
