Allied Heath Professional (AHP) Lead For New Hospital Project (NHP)

NHS AfC: Band 8a

Job overview

Following news of the successful application of the Trust to join the national New Hospital Programme (NHP), a substantial programme of work is now needed to develop the case, the overall design of the hospital and associated site plus the development of new and transformative operating and workforce models for the future. Working with the Chief Medical Officer, this post will provide senior Allied Health Professional (AHP) leadership for the design of the clinical services and areas, their pathways and processes and workforce requirements.

Main duties of the job

This role is responsible for leading the co-production process that brings together the views of clinical and non-clinical at MCHFT with those of its service uses and system wide stakeholders. The initial outputs of the role include production of a clinical design brief that informs the shape and content of the new facility in a way that drives material strides in efficiency and efficacy, whilst addressing key healthcare issues such as sustainability, inequality, and prevention. Beyond that the postholder will provide AHP leadership for the adoption of new models of care and the transition into the new facility. All programme outputs also have to be delivered within the challenging time, cost, and quality parameters of the Healthier Futures Programme.

Working for our organisation

At Mid Cheshire, our mission is to inspire hope and provide unparalleled care for the people and communities of Cheshire, helping them to enjoy life to the fullest.
