**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**
The relocation package is for anyone who is joining CWP in a clinical role at Band 5 or above, who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.
To be eligible for the relocation payment, you must live more than 40 miles from the base/location of the post you are applying for and you would need to relocate to within 15 miles of the new base.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Mental Health Practitioner within our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team based in Wirral.  The successful applicant will be expected to work across Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Services, which will include Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services and the Crisis Line.

The role of a Practitioner is to work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing a comprehensive assessment of people presenting in crisis. You will undertake detailed assessments of people’s needs and use your clinical skills and knowledge to provide intervention and treatment. The post holder will be expected to work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service which includes Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services and the Crisis Line.

  • Recognised qualification in mental health – RMN, AHP, Social Care (AMHPs)

  • Evidence of further professional development involving serious mental illness.
  • Willingness to undertake and complete nurse prescribing certificate.
  • Non-medical Prescribing certificate.

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Knowledge and sensitivity to equal opportunities issues.
  • Sound knowledge of current professional staff development and continuous service improvement issues, particularly in the context of ADHD and personality disorder services.

Experience

  • A good amount of post registration experience or demonstrated competencies through Personal Development Plan.
