Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Site Manager/ Clinical Nurse Practitioner working at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.

The post holder will be expected to maintain patient flow through the acute hospitals site and must be able to work autonomously to ensure the smooth, efficient and effective running of the hospital site over a 24-hour period. The Clinical Site Manager/Night Nurse practitioner has responsibility for the site in the out of hours period, which involves troubleshooting patient flow issues, staffing problems and clinical incidents.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will need to be innovative, motivated and an excellent role model for the Health Board values.

The rota involves both day and night shift patterns to suit service requirements.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Educated to degree level (must commit to achieving degree within an agreed period of time)
  • Evidence of Masters level learning or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development
