Main duties of the job
Contributes to being the interface of Procurement’ between NWSSP Local Procurement and our customers and will assist in representing the function at various levels. Additionally, the post holder will assist in informing on the status/priority of category work plans across Health Boards / Trusts. This will involve liaison with user departments and the NWSSP at all levels to promote procurement input into partner organisations’ business plans at the earliest opportunity.
The post holder will support the Procurement Business Manager in the provision of a professional procurement service to the Health Board / Trust contributing to the development and achievement of the NWSSP Business plan. The post holder will support the Procurement Business Manager on procurement issues and on key projects.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
