Digital Health and Care Wales is an ambitious organisation created by Welsh Government to lead on the digital transformation of health and care. It builds on the digital architecture and national services put in place by the NHS Wales Informatics Service over the past decade.
The organisation will lead on large-scale developments that make a significant difference to the people of Wales as well as to health and care professionals, such as expansion of the digital patient record and the creation of a National Data Resource. Job overview
The successful candidate will join the Corporate Services Team to provide comprehensive, confidential administrative, clerical and business support, to include elements of project support within the Corporate Governance Directorate.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will act as a point of contact for the team, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team.
To provide administrative support including when appropriate to all team members to support a range of department initiatives.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate proven experience and strong skills in the following areas: -
- The right candidates will be highly literate, have experience of delivering in an Informatics environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Providing a diary management service with the ability to resolve conflicting diary appointments and schedules.
- Manage, organise, and support the planning of complex meetings, events, and conferences.
- Preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.
- Provide an effective and efficient professional service when liaising with colleagues, partners, and the public.
- Co-ordination of Credit Card Purchases.
- Provide support in relation to asset management and estates/facilities services.
- Identifying problems or opportunities and take the necessary action. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Provide support in relation to filing, audit support and maintaining records.
