Job overview

This permanent full-time post offers an exciting opportunity to join the Nursing and Health Professional Education Directorate, working within the Education, Commissioning and Quality team (EC&Q),  providing admin support for the Bursary Relationship Manager. 

Main duties of the job

The post will provide administrative support to enable the bursary team to meet their objectives. You will have advanced IT skills and be confident in creating and maintaining complex trails of communication.  The ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff and stakeholders ensuring all aspects of administrative support is delivered is essential. You will also be able to handle correspondence relating to sensitive situations sympathetically and fairly. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent
  • Knowledge of general data protection requirements
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
Desirable criteria
  • A Levels or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of finance processes
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge and experience

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in an administrative role across all levels of staffing
  • Experience of dealing with a wide range of queries in a professional manner
  • Demonstrable experience of applying administrative systems and procedures, making improvements where necessary.
  • Evidence of handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience of working to deadlines
