Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated HCPC registered physiotherapist to work as a AHP Clinical Facilitator. Key areas of focus include providing visual support to pre-registration Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Dietetic students, apprenticeships and supporting those returning to practice. You will work collaboratively with clinical teams to embed non-traditional placement models to expand and support placement capacity within the four professions, with a specific focus on Physiotherapy.
The post holder will work across three main hospital sites, facilitating placements, training, and educating the re-registration students. You will work in conjunction with, and be supported by, our AHP Practice Educator for pre-registration students to contribute to, and ensure the provision of, high quality practice placements across these four professions.
The successful candidate must enjoy teaching, sharing knowledge, be self-motivated and organised, whilst working as a professional role model. They must demonstrate evidence of ongoing CPD and have recent experience as a practice educator.
You will be required to foster good relationships with the practice placement educators and external stakeholders.
