This is a busy and varied role and you will bring excellent communication and organisational skills, and in return we will support your continuous professional development within the Digital Team.

Main duties of the job

The job holder will provide RTT & Data Quality Training and Application support to all users of the Trusts Information Systems. As part of this role, you will also be involved in several other functions undertaken by the Data Quality Team including:

• RTT & Data Quality Training on Trust Information Systems

• Power BI report validation

• Creation of eLearning

• IT Service Desk

• Project Assistance

You will be expected to lead in the provision of RTT & Data Quality Training and Support across all North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Sites. We offer both onsite and remote working opportunities.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

In addition to the above duties, the post holder is also expected to:

· Be aware of your responsibilities in ensuring the security and confidentiality of information (data) which may be held by the Trust in any format in accordance with the Information Security Policy and other NHS IM&T Security Policies.

· Be aware of your responsibilities under the Data Protection Act and the Trust’s Information Security Policy.

· Be aware of, and comply with, all published Trust policies.

· Keep abreast of the developments within the Digital sector and especially within your area of expertise.

· Take responsibility to consider yourself and anyone else who could be affected by the things you do, or don’t do, that you should have while at work.

Education/Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to GCSE level standard English Language at Grade A-C or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • Training Qualification
  • Business Qualification, e.g. NVQ in Business Admin
  • Computer qualifications e.g. Microsoft Office Specialist

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience in the use of Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and Electronic Patient Records (EPR)
  • Previous experience in an administrative/ customer support role
  • Previous experience of working in a health care setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of general office practices
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience in a training environment
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Previous experience of eLearning creation

Communication

Essential criteria
  • Can demonstrate a high standard of written and verbal communication

Skills and Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Demonstrates good knowledge and understanding of the 18 weeks pathways (RTT)
  • Good working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Data Security and Data Quality
  • Knowledge of clinical IT systems
  • Excellent PC skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise own work in conjunction with the Data Quality Team
  • Ability to present information to a variety of audiences
  • High level of accuracy, Strong attention to detail, accuracy with spelling / numeric ability
